In particular, my current research is focussed on special cycles on Shimura varieties for unitary groups of signature (p,q), studying regularised theta lifts (or Borcherds lifts) for the dual reductive pair (U(p,q), U(1,1)), which give rise to Green currents for such special cycles. I am also interested in the arithmetic intersection theory on integral models of such Shimura varieties.
Besides my PhD topic, I am also interested in the study of finite analogues of multiple polylogarithms (MPLs) and multiple zeta values (MZVs), inspired by work of Gangl—Elbaz-Vincent, Kaneko—Zagier, Sakugawa—Seki, and others.
