Easy Display Manager is a program that displays the changed setting on the screen when a setting is changed by pressing the shortcut keys, and enables changing the display modes. Easy Display manager has three primary functions: To display information related to the function keys, to set up hotkeys that control various features such as rotation and resolution, and to adjust the brightness using the function keys. For these features to work, Easy Display Manager must be installed and running.

I suppose this method is working for most of the people. But for me it doesn't seem to work. I tried to everything as you said. Maybe because i am using an external keyboard to my np150. The only way i can change the brightness is the slider inside the power options. I also tried to install the easy display manager version 3.0.3.11, it got installed but never run.

For the Fn + F5 (its F5 on my computer, might be different on yours) to change the brightness you have to have the Samsung "Easy Display Manager" installed. Check to see that the program is still installed. If its not installed goto the Samsung website look up the model of your computer and it will display all the software dowloads that were pre-installed on your model of PC, if you need to you can download the "Easy display manager" again, once installed reboot you system and Fn + F5 should work again.

I am not sure I fixed everything, but I am finally able to adjust my brightness. I used my model number, NP88OZ5E and went to the Samsung website. I downloaded SW update and used it to download a myriad of new drivers and updates. It took quite a while. I still can't use my Fn keys to adjust brightness (I am missing that "easy display manager" program you referred to and I can't figure out how to find it, though I looked), but it works now when I use the control panel to adjust brightness now.

My problem was the same: all Fn buttons had worked fine, except brightness buttons. All the same I was not able to change the brightness in windows control panel (brightness adjustment was missing) and in samsung control center (nothing happened when moved the brightness adjustment).

1) samsung easy capture manager, can not be uninstalled (nothing in control panel, nothing in the software itself), it always starts with the printer manager, but it messes up with my other capturing software. so I want it gone (you know, when it was still samsung, it was possible to uninstall, not install, or just disable it)

2) the easy printer manager the same issue... first it is automaticaly started with windows, yet it is not in the win10 autostart "manager", I can not change the installation through control panel and there is no setting in the software itself (as it used to be ... lol HP you realy screwed up).

gues I just solved the capture manager problem myself, uninstall samsung printer software and there the first step is to seleted all software that shall be uninstalled and the first was capture manager. ok at least that worked.

Using manual settings to make adjustments may be difficult for some people and take a lot of time. In the majority of instances, making changes to the brightness or contrast of the image requires navigating the on-screen display, which may not always be easy to understand.

P.S. New feature e.g.

"macOS Ventura's Stage Manager feature is also making its way to iPadOS 16. Stage Manager allows you to resize windows as you would on a Mac (or PC) and has a visible dock on the screen that makes it easy to access apps. You can switch between open apps, with unused apps being moved to the side."

Winner of the combined display categories of Digital Signage and Projection was Panasonic. The company has exhibited innovation through the flexibility of its 3D Plasma display, suitable for applications in commercial, digital signage, education, home theater and other markets. The versatile 2D/3D unit can accept terminal boards with various interfaces depending on the signage application. For projection, we recognized Panasonic for the image-quality and energy-saving innovations in its series of one-chip DLP projectors. Its super-high resolution projectors conserve energy and reduce maintenance costs by automatically adjusting brightness based on ambient light. Taking the stage was Stoney White, Panasonic's senior business development manager, left, with the Test Center's Edward J. Correia. There were no runners up in these categories.
