NMEA hosted a virtual conference this summer from July 14-17, 2021. The theme this year was “Your Connection to Water,” focusing on our personal connection to water, as well as the virtual connection to which we have all become so familiar. Several SAME members presented wonderful talks, and we had a virtual chapter meeting during the conference. Missed out this year? SAME will support one member each year through a registration scholarship for the NMEA Annual Conference. For more information, see Scholarships & Awards.
SAME also hosted an in-person field trip at the Pascagoula River Audubon Center. It was so wonderful to get together and spend time with each other outdoors kayaking!
