You do not need to send private project photos. SameFrame’s Help & Support screen can create a limited diagnostic summary that excludes project names, notes, photos, and purchase details.
Open SameFrame and create a project.
Enter a project name and choose a category.
Take a new photo or select one from your photo library.
Add updates as your project progresses.
Open Create to compare, arrange, export, or share your photos.
Quick Match lets you recreate the framing of an existing photo without first creating a project.
Choose an existing photo, then use its transparent overlay to line up a new camera shot. After taking the new photo, you can compare the two images.
Quick Match does not add anything to a project unless you select Save as a project afterward.
Open a project and select Add update.
The free version accepts one photo per update. SameFrame Pro can import up to 10 photos together from the photo library or add a new camera photo.
Photos remain part of the selected project until you delete them or export a project backup.
Open a project and select Create to choose the photos you want to compare.
Available comparison formats may include:
Reveal slider
Blink comparison
Side-by-side comparison
Progress or stage comparisons
Shareable social-post layouts
Video or animated exports on supported devices
In Reveal mode, drag either the circular handle on the image or the slider below it.
SameFrame can create individual photos, multiple-photo posts, comparisons, and other exports for sharing.
When you select Share, your device’s standard sharing menu opens. You decide which app or destination receives the export. SameFrame does not post directly to a social network and does not upload your project automatically.
After an export is shared, the receiving service handles it according to that service’s privacy policy.
Viewpoints organize separate angles of the same project, such as Front, Side, Detail, or another custom view.
Each viewpoint can have its own timeline and camera-reference photo. This makes it easier to repeat the same angle throughout a project.
SameFrame Pro is a one-time purchase with no subscription. Pro features include:

Features and availability may vary by device and operating system.
Open Settings → Restore Pro purchase.
Use the same store account that originally purchased SameFrame Pro. You should not need to purchase it again.
If the store is unavailable:
Confirm that your device has an internet connection.
Confirm that you are signed into the correct store account.
Close and reopen SameFrame.
Try Restore Pro purchase again.

If an Android edition is released, its purchases and restoration will be handled through Google Play. Purchases generally do not transfer between different app stores.
SameFrame stores projects on your device by default.
SameFrame Pro can create a portable .sameframe project backup. You choose where that file is saved. On supported Apple devices, SameFrame can also save optional backups in your private iCloud Drive.
Keep a separate backup before deleting important projects or changing devices.
SameFrame requests permissions only when needed for features you choose:
Camera: Capture aligned project photos.
Photos or media library: Import photos and save selected exports.
Notifications: Deliver optional project reminders.
Motion: Show camera-level guidance while capturing a photo.
Face ID or device authentication: Protect the app when App Lock is enabled.
Files or storage: Open and save project backups or exports.
Permissions can be changed in your device’s system settings.
Deleted projects and photos may remain in Recently Deleted for up to 30 days unless you permanently delete them sooner.
Check Recently Deleted before assuming an item is permanently lost.
If SameFrame is not behaving normally:
Close and reopen the app.
Confirm that SameFrame has the required permissions.
Check that the device has available storage.
Install the latest SameFrame and operating-system updates.
Restart the device.
