When available, account deletion may also be requested directly through in-app account settings.

3. What Happens After Your Request

Once your request has been successfully verified:

•  Your account will be scheduled for deletion.

•  Access to your account may be disabled during processing.

•  You may receive confirmation that your request has been accepted.

•  Once completed, your account cannot normally be restored.

4. Information That Will Be Deleted

Subject to applicable legal requirements, deletion may include:

•  Name and username

•  Email address

•  Profile photo (if provided)

•  Learning progress

•  Quiz history

•  Achievement badges

•  Learning XP

•  Sama Points

•  Educational activity history

•  Community profile

•  User preferences

•  Associated personal information stored within Sama Protocol

Deleted information cannot normally be recovered.

5. Information That May Be Retained

In certain circumstances, we may retain limited information where required for:

•  Compliance with applicable laws

•  Fraud prevention

•  Security investigations

•  Enforcement of our Terms & Conditions

•  Regulatory obligations

•  Protection of platform integrity

Any retained information will be limited to what is reasonably necessary for those purposes.

6. Educational Progress

After account deletion:

•  Learning progress will be permanently removed.

•  Educational achievements will be deleted.

•  Leaderboard participation will end.

•  Community participation records linked to your account may be removed or anonymized where appropriate.

7. Sama Points

Sama Points exist solely as virtual educational rewards.

Following account deletion:

•  All Sama Points will be permanently removed.

•  All Learning XP will be deleted.

•  Achievement badges will be removed.

•  Virtual rewards cannot be recovered after deletion.

8. Processing Time

We aim to process verified account deletion requests within 30 days.

Some requests may require additional time where permitted or required by applicable law, particularly if verification or legal review is necessary.

9. Cancellation of a Deletion Request

If your deletion request has not yet been completed, you may contact our support team to determine whether cancellation is still possible.

Once deletion has been finalized, the process is generally irreversible.

10. Third-Party Services

If you signed in using a third-party authentication provider, deleting your Sama Protocol account will not automatically delete your account with that third-party provider.

Users should manage those accounts directly through the respective provider.

11. Privacy and Security

We handle account deletion requests using reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect user information throughout the deletion process.

Identity verification may be required to prevent unauthorized deletion requests.
