SMART

SMART is one of the major events organized by Science Association. With the theme being SCIENCE MEETS ART, we not only focus on Science but also reinforce the long lost Artistic skills in an individual. We attract juvenile minds from various parts of the city with a view to enrich their knowledge. Our main intention is to develop skills and interest among school students regarding Science and Technology. 

Every year a number of students from various institutions gather and the following events are engineered: 

LITERARY

A legitimate methodical analysis to test the proficiency of the student in several fields like Science, Mathematics, Analytical Reasoning, Current Affairs and General Knowledge. 

ARTISTIC

This event plays a leading role in promoting the artistic skills present in each kid. Students are taught perspective and 3D drawing as it plays a big role in cognitive development. It also helps the students to think creatively, develop hand-eye co-ordination, hone analytic skills and conceptualize ideas. 

SPEC-TALK

An interactive session with the students by an eminent personality is conducted to help them have a better picture to pursue higher studies and shape their future. A workshop style interaction amongst the students and the speaker. The curious minds are encouraged to drive the discussion. A fun and enthusiastic way to acquire knowledge in a visual form. 

MODEL PRESENTATION

To all the curious heads! Visual imprints stay longer. It showcases various mind-boggling models and helps implant a curiosity for the thinkers. 

FUN WITH SCIENCE

FWS is an entertaining, convivial and witty event. It stands out from all the other events as this is a great juncture for the students to showcase their skills at the application level. This event includes staggering games exclusively made for the young minds. 

INDIA AND SCIENCE

This is a small initiative to honour Indian Scientists who are less known for their great achievements and remarkable deeds in the field of science. This will inspire the juvenile minds to acknowledge India’s accomplishments in Science and Technology and to admire Indians for their extraordinary talent.
