OrchestRAVE

Another project I am taking part in this year is OrchestRAVE. This is a fusion project, blending drum and bass music with accompaniment by the Guildhall Session Orchestra. I am orchestrating two songs for this project Disconnect and Empire. This is an ongoing project.

This project provided a good challenge for me, as I'd never done any work in the DnB field (even though this project was still orchestral!) It made me think about the sections of the orchestra in a different way (thinking of them in a more block format, rather than individual lines) and how it interacts with extra-orchestral elements.
