Hi, I'm Sam Mellott! I was raised a Wolfpack fan in the city of Raleigh, and I eventually decided to pursue my undergraduate degree at NC State University.  Fast-forward to my senior year, I'm now in the Master of Microbial Biotechnology (MMB) Program following the accelerated Bachelor/Master (ABM) degree pathway. 

I aspire to build a career that allows me to drive innovation and increase accessibility to novel, life-changing biotherapeutics. In pursuit of this goal, I've had the opportunity to co-op at Amgen while enrolled in the ABM MMB Program. 

Outside of my academic/professional life, I enjoy playing the guitar, classic rock music, beach volleyball, houseplants, and traveling.
