With a background in social work and a strong belief in the transformative power of education, Nanda Htoo Myint embarked on a mission to establish Salween Academy.

Khant Zaw Tun, the driving force behind the initiation of all programs at Salween Academy, is a dedicated and multi-faceted individual with a passion for education and sustainable development. Khant Zaw Tun embarked on his educational journey by pursuing a Bachelor of Education at Yangon University of Education from 2017 to 2020, where he honed his skills and understanding of the educational landscape. Recognizing the importance of a holistic approach to societal progress, Khant Zaw Tun is currently expanding his academic horizons by studying towards a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences and Sustainable Development at Chiang Mai University.
