Scope: Emek/Etha 2 bodies (both standard and other) shipped before January 12, 2021. Specifically white PETG bodies.
Trigger: Customer reported feedneck broke after a dive in the field.
Investigation: Upon reviewing and testing our stock, we found that specifically bodies printed with white PETG filament which used another brand than our standard due to the shortage caused by the pandemic were potentially susceptible to a break from the front lip to the top of the feedneck. Testing of the other stock using our standard brand of filament revealed no such weakness.
Response: Removed the brand of filament from our production. Regardless of the filament, we will offer a guaranteed RMA for any customer who experiences a failure of the feedneck this way if shipped before Jan 12, 2021. In addition, we performed stress analysis on the existing feedneck design and made design improvements to further strengthen the feedback to prevent such a break going forward. For those particularly concerned about this we encourage you to order in Nylon which is more robust to these kind of issues.
