Hello, dear reader!
I grew up nestled in the northwest corner of Connecticut. My childhood was enveloped by the deep, serene woods, nurturing my spirit and a profound love for the cyclic seasons of nature.
My journey into mindfulness began during elementary school when I was taught to use a body-scan technique to ease into sleep — a practice I later recognized as meditation during college.
In 2017, I graduated from Westfield State University with a Bachelor of Science in Movement Science, specializing in Wilderness Leadership. This achievement came with an Academic Excellence award and was complemented by minors in Psychology and Women & Gender Studies. During these formative years (2013-2017), I discovered a passion for yoga, Reiki, spirituality, and various holistic healing methods.
The year following my graduation, I earned a 200-hour CYT in Hatha Yoga from Lotus Gardens LLC. I was also formally initiated into the Society of Witchcraft and Old Magick (SWOM). My dedication to this path led to my initiation as a Priestess in 2020, empowering me to train others in the craft and refine my practice and rituals.
My Master’s studies at the University of Bridgeport was a true turning point, as I was diagnosed with endometriosis. This revelation reshaped my life's trajectory, guiding me towards a deep appreciation of creativity and comfort. This transition has led me to where I am now, shaping my approach to life and work.
My mission is to inspire you to embrace your creative spirit, navigate life's unpredictable paths, and achieve your goals while aligning with what is for your highest and best good. My company, Salix & Sage, encapsulates this ethos, inspired by my mother's wisdom: "Be like the willow tree & bend with the wind." Salix, the Latin term for willow, symbolizes strength rooted in flexibility, especially during challenging times.
At Salix & Sage, I offer distance Reiki for nourishment and tarot readings for reflection. For those seeking writing events, book coaching, and beta-reading for fiction or non-fiction, I invite you to explore Coven of Books.
Blessed Be!
