Want to add our meetings to your calendar?
Every time you sign up for a functionary role at a Salesforce Toastmasters meeting — Timer, Ah Counter, Grammarian, Evaluator, Table Topics Master, Toastmaster of the Day — you are volunteering for a nonprofit. And at Salesforce, that volunteering can turn into real money for a cause you care about.
Here's how it works.
Each quarter, Salesforce randomly selects 1,000 employees to each receive a US $500 grant to donate to an eligible nonprofit of their choice. To be eligible, you need to be an Impact Trailblazer — meaning you've earned 7 or more Impact Milestones in the fiscal year. Toastmasters functionary roles help you get there.
Impact Milestones are how Salesforce tracks and recognizes your volunteer and giving activity throughout the fiscal year. They fall into three categories: Relationship Builder, Community Champion, and Global Collaborator.
Toastmasters functionary roles can earn you several milestones (Milestones are tracked in the Employee Impact Hub):
Team Participant — sign up to volunteer once
Repeat Engagement — sign up three times with the same cause
5 VTO Activities — one milestone
8 Total Hours — one milestone
10 Activities — one milestone
Earn 7 or more Impact Milestones in a fiscal year and you become an Impact Trailblazer — and get entered into the quarterly $500 Impact Grant drawing.
Here's how to log your Toastmasters time:
Go to https://sfdc.co/sftm_vto (you must be logged into your Salesforce account)
Sign up for the Meeting Dates where you served a functionary role and log 1 hour for each date.
You can log past functionary roles retroactively
