Prior to joining the Salazar-Ciudad group in 2020 I studied at the University of Belgrade, where I was involved in research projects focused on evolutionary morphology, phenotypic plasticity, and computational biology.

My PhD project combines all of these interests (and more) - I am working on a physics model aiming to simulate the pupal stages of Drosophila wing development and its plastic responses to various environmental conditions, in order to shed light on the mechanics of these processes.
