By downloading or using Salah Bound ("the app"), developed by Josef Allo ("we", "us"), you agree to these terms.
The App
Salah Bound is a free Islamic prayer companion app providing prayer times, Qibla direction, Quran text and audio recitation, Hadith collections, duas, a tasbih counter, Ramadan tools, and related features. It is provided for personal, devotional, and informational use.
Accuracy Disclaimer
Prayer times, Qibla direction, and Hijri calendar dates are calculated using standard astronomical methods and third-party data sources. While we aim for accuracy, these calculations can vary slightly by location, calculation method, and data source. For matters of religious obligation, please verify times against your local mosque or a trusted local authority — the app is a convenience tool, not a religious authority.
Quran, Hadith, and Religious Content
Quranic text, translations, Hadith collections, and the 99 Names of Allah are sourced from established public datasets and APIs. We've made reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy, but we are not religious scholars — if you notice an error, please contact us so it can be corrected.
Ads and Purchases
The free version of the app shows advertisements via Google AdMob. You may purchase a one-time "Remove Ads" upgrade through Google Play Billing; this purchase is non-refundable except as required by Google Play's own refund policy, and is tied to the Google account that made the purchase.
Your Conduct
You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, or misuse the app in ways that violate Google Play's policies, or to use it for any unlawful purpose.
No Warranty
The app is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. We're not liable for any damages, missed prayers, or other consequences arising from use of, or inability to use, the app, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app changes. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
