I am Sakshi Babar, a fifth Marketing Ph.D. Candidate at Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia.

My research leverages causal inference, machine learning and generative-AI methods to investigate the impact of marketing strategies related to climate change on firm and consumer outcomes. Specifically, I examine firms strategies that leverage opportunities arising from climate change, and stakeholder reception of these strategies.

I have received the EMAC-Sheth Foundation Sustainability Research Award, and the ISBM Doctoral Support Award for my dissertation work.

I hold a Master's degrees in Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management Udaipur, and an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology Hamirpur in India.
