Improving genome assembly quality in presence of ultra-deep sequencing coverage.

SWE-Machine Learning (PhD) Intern at Meta, Menlo Park. June 2025 - September 2025.
Developed and trained multiple transformer-based models to enhance personalized Facebook Marketplace feeds, focusing on content integrity and quality to drive buyer–seller engagement.
Conducted a comparative evaluation of the proposed models against the production baseline using metrics such as ROC-AUC, PR-AUC, precision, recall, and demotion scores for low-quality content.
Achieved ~1% improvement in AUC scores over the current production model.
