Facilitators

Obinna Anya – UX researcher with Google. He has a PhD in HCI and close to 10 years of work experience in the intersection of HCI and fields such as AI. He will be an industry mentor and a resource person.

Makuochi Nkwo has a PhD in HCI, previously a post-doc fellow with University of Namibia and now works as faculty with University of Greenwich, United Kingdom. His research is in the intersection of HCI, AI and Ethics. He would act as a facilitator and mentor.

Shaimma Lazem – Am associate professor at the Informatics Research Institute, City of Scientific Research and Technology Applications in Egypt. She is the co-founder of the ArabHCI community and one of the leaders of the AfriCHI community. She would act as a consultant and facilitator.

Halleluyah Aworinde – An assistant professor at Bowen University, Nigeria with research experience in the intersection of AI & Design Thinking.

Tochukwu Ikwuene – A PhD student in the field of HCI at Trinity University, Dublin. He would act as a facilitator and mentor.

Abdullahi Kawu - A PhD student in the field of HCI at Technological University, Dublin. He would act as a facilitator and mentor.

Cornellius Adejoro – A PhD student in the University of Colaorado. He would act as a facilitator and mentor.

Olusegun Adeniyi – A UI/UX Designer with 5 years of industry experience. He would act as a facilitator and mentor.
