I convinced a 70-year-old couple to let me photograph them. The uncle was a bit shy and hesitant. He smiled and said, “I have no idea how to pose.”
So I spent a couple of minutes just talking to him — asking about when they got married, how photos were taken in their time, and the memories they shared. Slowly, that hesitation turned into comfort.
Then I guided them with a few simple, natural poses — nothing complicated, just focusing on their real connection.
And what I captured after that… weren’t just photographs, but a beautiful story.
Sometimes, photography isn’t about posing — it’s about connection.
