Terms of Use for SailDream

These Terms of Use apply to SailDream, a sailing and boat-life planning app.
By using SailDream, you agree to these terms.
1. Purpose of the App
SailDream is designed to help users organize private sailing, cruising, boat ownership, maintenance, gear, trip preparation, provisioning, float plan, crew watch, and related planning records.
SailDream is a planning and organization aid only.
2. Not Professional Advice
SailDream is not a navigation app.
SailDream is not a weather app.
SailDream is not a safety, legal, customs, immigration, mechanical, insurance, financial, survey, or professional advice app.
You are responsible for verifying all information, making safe decisions, following applicable laws and regulations, maintaining your boat properly, checking weather and navigation information from appropriate sources, and consulting qualified professionals when needed.
3. User Responsibility
You are responsible for the records, notes, attachments, exports, and other information you enter into SailDream.
You are responsible for backing up, exporting, saving, or otherwise protecting your data.
SailDream does not guarantee that your plans, checklists, float plans, boat records, maintenance notes, document records, exports, or other app content are complete, accurate, current, legally sufficient, or suitable for any specific purpose.
4. Subscriptions
SailDream offers an optional auto-renewable subscription called SailDream Pro Monthly.
The subscription unlocks premium planning features in the app.
Payment is charged through your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
The subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings.
5. App Store Terms
If you download SailDream from the Apple App Store, Apple’s standard terms and conditions may also apply to your purchase, subscription, and use of the app.
6. Data and Exports
SailDream may allow you to create PDF or CSV exports and share them outside the app.
You are responsible for where you send, store, or share exported information.
7. No Warranty
SailDream is provided “as is” and “as available.”
We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every boating, sailing, cruising, or planning situation.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, SailDream and its developer are not responsible for losses, damages, injuries, claims, costs, or expenses resulting from your use of the app, reliance on app content, loss of data, exported files, planning decisions, boating decisions, or third-party services.
9. Changes to the App or Terms
SailDream may be updated, changed, or discontinued at any time.
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page.
