SailDream is a private sailing and boat-life planning app designed to help users organize boat planning records, checklists, budgets, maintenance notes, trip plans, provisioning lists, float plans, crew watch schedules, document checklists, and related planning information.
This Privacy Policy explains how SailDream handles information.
1. Information We Collect
SailDream does not require users to create an account.
SailDream does not operate a backend server for user accounts, profiles, analytics, social features, maps, GPS tracking, weather services, or public sharing.
Information you enter into SailDream may include planning notes, boat details, budgets, maintenance records, checklist items, trip planning records, provisioning lists, float plan details, crew planning notes, photos, attachments, and exported files.
This information is stored locally on your device unless you choose to export, share, back up, or sync it using Apple services or other tools available on your device.
2. Local Data Storage
SailDream is designed to be local-first. Your app records are stored on your device.
If you delete the app, reset your device, or lose access to your device, your local SailDream data may be lost unless you have exported, backed up, or otherwise saved it.
3. Photos, Attachments, PDF Exports, and CSV Exports
SailDream may allow you to attach photos, add files, and export planning records as PDF or CSV files.
These files remain under your control. If you share or export them outside SailDream, they may be handled by the app, service, person, or storage location you choose.
4. iCloud and Apple Services
SailDream may include settings or planning for future iCloud sync support, but user records are not sent to a SailDream-owned backend server.
If Apple services such as iCloud, device backup, App Store purchases, or subscription management are used, those services are governed by Apple’s terms and privacy policies.
5. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
SailDream offers an optional auto-renewable subscription called SailDream Pro Monthly.
Purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store. SailDream does not receive your full payment card information.
6. Data Sharing
SailDream does not sell your personal data.
SailDream does not use your data for advertising.
SailDream does not provide a public social feed, public profiles, or user-generated public content.
7. Analytics and Tracking
SailDream does not include third-party advertising tracking.
If analytics or crash reporting are added in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated.
8. Children’s Privacy
SailDream is not intended for children under 13. The app is designed for general boating, sailing, and planning use.
9. Planning Aid Only
SailDream is a planning and organization aid only. It is not a navigation, weather, safety, legal, customs, immigration, mechanical, insurance, financial, or professional advice app.
