About Us

What is Sigma Alpha Iota? Sigma Alpha Iota is an International Music Fraternity. Formed to "uphold the highest standards of music" and "to further the development of music in America and throughout the world", it continues to provide musical and educational resources to its members and the general public.

Why should I join? Joining Sigma Alpha Iota not only means gaining a whole bunch of sisters and new friendship, it can also lead to scholarships and wonderful resume potential! Once a member, you can apply for scholarships and positions that prepare you for your career, whether it be in music or otherwise!

When is Recruitment? Recruitment Week is August 30th through September 3rd at 7:00 PM each night! They will be held in person and masks are required with no exceptions. We will also have a Zoom link each night so anyone who wishes to join virtually may do so! Your comfort and safety is our biggest priority, so we WILL accommodate to you as needed!
