We have decided to start phasing out our use of palm oil in our recipes, and this recipe will be the replacement for our soaps going forward. Inspired by Solesiefe bars, this soap is made with a milky sea salt brine and any undissolved salt is included in the soap batter. The sea salt adds hardness to the bar as well as lends moisturizing properties, and helps to cut down on curing time.
While we love consistency, some things are better when they get a fresh look once in a while. You can expect to see recurring soap scents with a few special additions here and there, as well as a new single soap recipe (see our section on Sea Salt and Cream Soap); however, not all of our soaps will look the same on a regular basis.
Introducing... rotating designs!
That's right, we will give each batch of soap a new look each time it is created. The two major exceptions to this will be our Breakfast Bar and our Tea Tree and Charcoal Bar. Some classics are best left untouched. You can see images of old designs when you click on a specific bar. Let us know if there is a design you'd like to see return!
