Teaching is a deep-rooted passion in me. I became a teacher at the age of eighteen, when I had not even started school for my undergraduate studies, and it has been one of my main commitments since then. I believe that creating learning experiences for students and helping them discover their passion is an admirable goal in and of itself in the professional life of any educator. I further think that teaching provides me with the opportunity to share my knowledge and expertise with students on subjects that hold significant importance to me. As such, as an academic, I have always found teaching to be a truly rewarding experience.
Course Expertise
My primary teaching interests are in introduction to linguistics, syntactic theory, morphology and field methods. I have had the opportunity to obtain extensive teaching experience through teaching as a primary instructor as well as a teaching assistant and a grader for several advanced, intermediate and introductory courses in syntax and morphology.
