Global Project

Global Project Description: This project was a project where we dove into a specific location and researched many different things from the culture to the way they used technology. I choose Greece, while my partner chose the Dominican Republic. This project taught my many different things I was unaware of that happened in Greece. Overall, this project consists of many viable things that are beneficial to our knowledge that many were unaware of before.

Overall Lesson: An overall lesson that I learned was that it is beneficial to learn of cultures you were unaware of before. For example, I knew some things of Greek culture. Although I was unaware of the extent of the culture. Just like any culture there are many details. Personally, I learned more of how Greek culture does with technology as Greek is one of the oldest living civilizations. Another thing I learned was how to communicate as a group on a college level, for example I've previously worked as a group before. Although, in college its more pressure in a way as if you do not do it effectively you may fail part of the class. However, in high school it didn't matter too much. Therefore, me and my partner worked accordingly to communicate and finish this project as team.

Interesting Fact: A lot of famous stories come from Greece, these stories contain Zues, Hades and Poseidon. Greece is one of the oldest cultures with a rich history, these are part of what makes their culture rich as has imprinted itself on other cultures such as ours as well.
