New Jersey's 9th Congressional District, a district that since the 1970s has housed such Democratic Stalwarts as Robert Torricelli, Steve Rothman, Bill Pascrell, and (as the 8th) Herb Klein stampeded to the right in the 2024 Presidential election, with Kamala Harris only the 2010s Version of the seat by 5.1%
Here, Kamala Harris' collapse vs Joe Biden's 2020 Numbers is the main thing that caused this seat's 20% Swing right, with the swing right amongst Asians, Arabs, White Suburbanites, and Orthodox Jews all contributing to the swing.
Looking Towards the Senate election, Andy Kim significantly overperformed Harris in this seat by 8.2%, placing a strong upper single/lower double digits overperformance with Latinos, and gargantuan 10-20% overperformances with Muslims, Orthodox Jews, and especially Korean Americans.
In fact, his strongest overperformance can be found in the Working Class Korean town of Palisades Park, with the surrounding Leonia, Ridgefield, Fort Lee, and Edgewater also seeing their most heavilly Korean Precincts host strong performances for Andy Kim.
