2024 NJ-1st Congressional Election

The 2024 US House election in NJ-1st Congressional District, a contest between 5 term incumbent Donald Norcross and Lawyer Teddy Liddell saw Norcross's smallest reelection margin in his decade as a US Representative, with only his 2014 margin being closer

Underrunning even Kamala Harris, it is likely that the NJ State Attorney General's indictment of his Brother, longtime South Jersey Power Broker George Nocross damaged the Norcross brand in the seat to Wealthy and educated voters to a point where Donald underperformed Harris.

Herein, Kamala had the most lackluster margin for a Democrat in the South Jersey 1st district of the last 20 years, underperforming Hillary Clinton by 4.6% and even underperforming Kerry's margin in the seat 2022-2032 seat by roughly 2%

Compared to Harris' showing, South Jersey Democratic Senate Candidate Andy Kim overperformed her throughout the seat,

with his strongest overperformances coming in Maple Shade in Burlington, the Latino Precincts in Camden City, and the White Working class areas of the seat such as Belmawr, Runnemede and West Depford

Compared to Norcross's performance, Andy Kim did much better than the Representative in the district's more educated areas, posting a strong performance in Haddon, Haddonfield, Tavistock, and even the Norcross Machine's educated base of Cherry Hill
