After facing a brutal primary over the summer, Rob Menendez, seen as an overperformer due to his impressive 2022 showing, was a lock to congress,
however, despite said showing, and single digits over performance with latinos compared to Vice President Kamala Harris' showing, Rob Menendez only barely over-performed by 0.2% in the district as a whole
Underperforming Kamala Harris the most in Hoboken, whose mayor Ravi Bhalla sought to primary Menendez in 2024, Menendez underperformed the most amongst Young Up and Coming Professionals in the gentrifying parts of Guttenberg, Weehawken, West New York, Hoboken and Jersey City's Ward E.
Comparatively, he over-performed the most with Latinos throughout the distirct, especially in Union city (where his father was once Mayor) but Menendez also outperformed Kamala amongst Indian Americans near Journal Square and Arabs in Ward C.
