The 2024 UK General Election, a Contest for Parliament and the Prime Ministership between Labour's Sir Keir Starmer and the Tory Incumbent Rishi Sunak Resulted in Second Largest ever Labour Majority in UK History (Only Eclipsed by Blair's 1997 Win),
and a near obliteration for the UK Tories, wining only 120 seats in their worst ever performance.
Fought amidst crippling inflation, High unemployment, an economic crisis caused by Brexit, and excaserbated by the 2020-2022 Coronavirus pandemic, as well as a governmental crisis caused by a decade and a half of austerity,
Labour won less on their own ideas, than on a general anti-Tory Sentiment that also allowed the far-right ReformUK to surge to 14.3% of the popular vote and five seats.
Lastly, this win resulted in the most unrepresentative parliament in UK history, as Labour won 63.2% of the Seats in Parliament whilst only winning 33.8% of the Popular vote.
