The 2022 Italian Chamber of Deputies Election, following the collapse of the government that enabled Technocratic Prime Minister Mario Dhragi's Prime Ministership—the Five Star Movement leaving the coalition—Italian President Sergio Mattarella dissolved Parliament, calling for new Elections.
Herein, due to the unpopularity of incumbent governments in Europe due to the 2021 Energy crisis, as well as a broader economic slowdown and inflation the Italy's Right wing Coalition was able to landslide over the incumbent Center Left/Five Star Coalition;
allowing for Italy to attain it's first Far Right led government since Benito Mussolini in the 1940s.
