Puerto Rico's Educational Attainment rate by 2019 ACS 5 year Estimates. Considerably lower than the mainland, holding a 25.9% rate of Bachelors degrees or higher, as compared to 32.1% on the mainland.
Thoiugh Puerto Rico is more educated than Mainland Hispanics with this data set, holding a 25.9% rate of Bachelors degrees or higher, as compared to mainland hispanics who hold a 16.4% rate of attainment for Bachelors degrees or higher.
Comparing other factors, Puerto Rico is significantly more urbanized and is significantly nonwhite - clocking in at around 98% Hispanic/Latino Origin - making it so that it is unlikely that college attainment is the only thing that would dominate Puerto Rican Politics should it become a State.
Lastly, it should be noted that while outliers do exist - such as the north west, and easternmost municipios (Rio Grande and Humacao -> East) mostly due to cultural reasons - the Combined MVC/PIP increases in vote tended to occur in municipios with a higher educational attainmentm such as Ponce, Mayagüez Cabo Rojo, Caguas, Gurabo, & the San Juan Metro Area.
