Attendance & Reimbursement

  1. Attendance is by invitation only. Invitations will be sent to SAGA MC members via e-COST by the Grant Manager (Dr Ingrid Salvesen). MC members will be invited first and, according to the budget, other MC substitutes and ad-hoc participants may be also invited.
  2. VERY IMPORTANT: Remember to sign the attendance list each day of the meeting. Participants that fail to sign the attendance list for each day of the meeting won’t be reimbursed.
  3. Taking into account the short length of Grant Period 1 (GP1) and need to maximise the use of the budget there are some SPECIAL RULES regarding participation and reimbursement for this meeting:
    • Please, confirm your assistance before 4 January 2019, after this date, the invitations that are not confirmed will be cancelled and a new invitation will be sent to other SAGA members or other invited participants.
    • Within 7 days from the end date of the meeting you MUST sign and submit your claim electronically in e-COST. Please note that participants failing to submit their claims by 15th March 2019 won’t be reimbursed.
    • Please read the rules for claiming transport (COST Rules of Reimbursement that you can consult here: www.cost.eu/VADEMECUM) and book your flights ASAP. If your flight costs more than 620 euros, please contact Carmen Cuenca-Garcia (SAGA Chair) and Ingrid Salvesen (SAGA Grant Manager) before purchasing your ticket.
