The design consists of a sensor that would sit in the water when the tank's water level is at its highest point. This is accomplished by the device having a clip shape on the back of the sensor that will allow it to snap onto the fill valve in the tank. It would have LEDs on the device in order to let the user know if the device was functional or not. There would also be the option to implement a screen onto the device along with the LEDs to let the user know if there were any errors setting up the device.
This would involve designing our own joint that incorporates a sensor that would stick out into the center of the pipe in order to have it hit flowing water. This device would incorporate LEDs allowing the user to see if the device is or is not operational.
The design will involve having the sensors at the bottom of the tank in order to get consistent readings without having to rely on the water in the tank being at the highest point to acquire readings. There would be wires connecting from the sensors to the monitor which would be on the outside of the tank. The monitor would hold the microcontroller, bluetooth, and Wi-Fi devices that would let the user access their data.
