Conclusion
The overall assessment of the project would be a kind of success. There were some problems along the way such as trying to find the right parts for the circuit. Some of the parts took longer to come in than others thus setting us back to the schedule for building the circuit. Then, taking the time to learn and make sure we understood how to use the parts properly so we didn’t break them and had to order more. Another setback was having to change some components like the 555 timer chip which didn’t end up working. We also changed the input voltage to 6 double A batteries and changed the bottle insert to a pump. After all that we managed to get the circuit working, after many hours of adjusting resistors to get the right sign waves that we need and setting the timed delay then making sure the pump turned on in the end we got it to work. So the final status of the project is that it is working, but not fully what we expected to be the end result. We wish it didn’t take as long as it did to make the circuit with all the setbacks we had, we weren’t able to complete the sanitizer as a whole but we were glad about our end result and the circuit working as we wanted it to. Now, do we have any questions about our project like how the circuit works or if we enjoyed the project? We would be happy to answer any and all of your questions.
