Emergency Beacons for Search and Rescue
A Personal Locator Beacon, or PLB, is your lifeline to help in an emergency. A 406 MHz PLB is one of the most powerful and affordable pieces of survival equipment available. You should never leave the dock, or the camp, without a PLB.
An Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon, or EPIRB, is safety equipment to have aboard your vessel. Once activated either manually or with water, an EPIRB will send a 406hz radio frequency signal that will alert your position and enact a quick emergency rescue response.
AIS, or Automatic Identification System, is a type of ocean signaling safety device. Other boats equipped with AIS transponders in the area will receive a man overboard on their chart plotters when your device is activated. In most cases, this could be the quickest potential rescue.
Our emergency communication devices offer instant and reliable communication in times of distress, enabling fishermen to call for help and receive assistance promptly. These devices are designed to ensure quick response and effective rescue operations.
