Amber

I’m Amber! Single mama of one teen and neighborhood mom to a few more. I do a lot of graphic design, social media and PR work for SRS, so I tend to be super visible on our channels! I am a disabled single mom, and a studio art graduate student. I make art about, and teach about post-right online aesthetics. I study the ways that fascist ideology has evolved in aesthetics through social media and the impacts we’ve all endured from it. These things impact our communities directly!

I also work with Redlands Free Market and Inland Empire Harm Reduction. I work toward improving the material conditions of anyone who has a need, meeting people where they are, and building a trusting, and radically empathetic community. I’ve been a member of the Redlands community for over 10 years, but I grew up in the foster system, a system that sent me all over the Inland Empire. Growing up with a highly stigmatized background informs my artwork and my community work. This background also informs my protectiveness of kids who are neglected and/or targeted for their identities or socioecomic situations.

Anon

Anonymous due to the safety of my children. I was born and raised here in the IE and have been a Redlands resident for over 23 years. I am a wife and mom to both 2 legged and 4 legged kids. When I have a spare moment I love to read cookbooks, try new recipes, go on nature photo walks, and visit museums.

Erin

Hi all, I’m Erin! I grew up in Redlands attending Sacred Heart Academy and Aquinas High School before leaving home to attend the University of California, Irvine (zot zot zot!) After completing my bachelor’s in Political Science I decided to return to my hometown and received an MBA through the University of Redlands. I had some great years working at a local Redlands tech company, met my husband and have spent the last decade as a stay at home mom to my two children who are both elementary school students in RUSD. My life as of lately revolves around fortnight, Dog Man, and baseball. I spend my me time at the gym or watching cute animal videos on TikTok. I’m trying my best to raise good humans and to be a positive influence in the community I have called home for most of my life. If you see me out and about, feel free to say hi!

Felipe

Hi! My name is Felipe, SRS organizer and tech worker. My family is so American that we are from the THREE Americas: My child and I were born in Brazil (South America), while my spouse is from Belize (Central America), but our family could only exist here in the United States of America! As someone who grew up in a developing country, I feel immensely privileged to live in a school district where our kids have access to quality education and an inclusive environment. In my free time, I love playing Minecraft and building DIY electronic projects with my child.

Stephanie

Hey there friends! Stephanie here... Safe Redlands Schools Organizer and Redlands resident for the last 10 years. I have 3 awesome kiddos in RUSD and by this fall, the 4th will join them. I serve on my kid's School Site Safety Council, I am on the RUSD LCAP Advisory Committee, and those are just my RUSD affiliated roles. In my free time (ha!) I'm deeply involved in community collaboration. I founded and run (with an awesome team) a mutual aid group for parents that has expanded to encompass 12 I.E. cities, I run a parenting and mental health support group, and I work in the non-profit public health sector. Reading and walking are my hobbies, usually simultaneously (in the interest of time) and I love weightlifting. We have 3 rescued family members- two kitties and one doggy. My favorite part about organizing so far is watching a community come together to fight hate and disinformation and getting to know other parents who care about the well-being of children as much as I do.

TRisha

Hi I’m Trisha, mom of two amazing kids, one adorable cat, and a dog. 16 years ago, my family moved to the Redlands area from Los Angeles where I grew up. I attended University of Redlands for graduate school and Humboldt State for my undergraduate degree, which is where I met my husband of 18 years. When I’m not speaking up at school board meetings my favorite things to do are creating, traveling, and seeing live music. My favorite part of being a part of Safe Redlands Schools is knowing that this work is making a difference in keeping our community more inclusive and accepting of all students and families.
