Yazan Safadi is a PhD Candidate in Transportation Engineering at the Technion, he completed his MSc degree with honors in 2019 and his BSc in 2017, also at the Technion. he presented his PhD and MSc work at several international and local conferences. He is highly skilled in Modeling, Control, Optimization, Data analysis, and Simulation in the Traffic Management and Operation sector. As a transportation scholar, Yazan's motto is "transit and control the traffic as the heart transports blood and oxygen".

Traffic Flow Modeling and Control of Macroscopic Fundamental Diagrams for Low-Altitude Air City Transport
(a)

Figure: A new operational concept "Controlling flows of aircraft traffic, rather than individual aircraft": (a) Aircraft are individually controlled with a centralized structure under rigid individual operations, (b) Future urban low-altitude air transport (LAAT) aircraft will be aggregately controlled under flexible aircraft flow operations. [as suggested by Haddad et al. (2021)].
