TDIndustries High School Internship Program
TDIndustries established its High School Internship Program to provide future tradespeople an early hands-on understanding of TD, its culture and career opportunities.
We have developed a strategy to utilize qualified entry-level talent to strengthen and balance the skilled, trade professional workforce. We are taking the foundation of work-based learning programs and refining it to meet today’s labor regulations, safety protocols, educational requirements and tomorrow’s generational expectations.
Habitat for Humanity Summer Internship
Student Interns will have the unique opportunity to learn and then lead hands on residential construction working alongside staff, volunteers, and future homeowners. They will gain and utilize leadership and cooperation skills as well as gain valuable project coordination and construction skills. They will have the unique opportunity to assist with build planning, review, and real problem solving.
Port San Antonio is hiring summer interns to gain valuable work experience and develop professional relationships.
Requirements:
Must be enrolled as a full-time high school student in Edgewood or South San ISD
Must be a senior beginning in the Fall 2025 semester and be at least 16 years of age by June 4, 2025
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Throughout the year, Spare Parts offers unpaid internships for college and high school students. Interns will work closely with our team at the Spare Parts Center for Creative Reuse.
The VelocityTX Career Incubator is a year-round internship program that offers high school and college students hands-on work in bioscience, entrepreneurial development, and related fields.
Requirements:
VelocityTX is proud to be located on the East Side of San Antonio and we make every effort to recruit East Side residents into our career incubator . Employers will make their own hiring decisions based on business needs.
- High school students ages 16+ currently enrolled in school.
- College students in good standing at any San Antonio-area two- and four-year institution.
- STEM majors at any four-year institution who indicate an interest in biosciences and have an interest in working in San Antonio upon graduation.
Roots of Resilience: A Youth Mental Wellness Internship is an online program designed to inspire, empower, and equip middle and high school students with the skills they need to thrive. Our program focuses on mental health, personal growth, and community service. Through mindfulness training, self-care practices, and volunteer projects, our participants will gain hands-on experience that promotes mental wellness while contributing to their communities.
