Living in shelters
Awaiting foster care placement
Living in cars, parks, abandoned buildings,
substandard housing, etc.
Sharing housing-doubled up due to loss of housing, economic hardship, or a similar reason (doubled up)
Living in motels, hotels, trailer parks, camping grounds due to the lack of alternative accommodations
Children and youth
whose parents or guardians will not permit them to live at home.
Run away from home and live-in runaway shelters, hospitals, abandoned buildings. streets, or other inadequate accommodations-even if their parents are willing to provide a home for them
Have a primary nighttime residence that is a public or private place not designated for or ordinarily used as a regular sleeping accommodation for individuals.
