Dear teacher candidate:
Thank you for creating fun, engaging lessons for kids in the Sacramento Region. Before submitting a resource to SacWAC, discuss your idea with your supervisor and get his/her feedback. To submit a lesson, you will need to complete this form. You will need to develop a lesson landing page. It could be a part of your existing professional website, or you can just develop a google doc (use the published, non-editable version). The landing page must have the following essential elements:
Your name with the link to your website or professional profile.
The lesson description: short and enticing!
A link to your lesson video or animation or any multimedia. Use any video creation software or video lesson tools to create; see resources. Most of the tools were introduced in Fall 2019 Online Tech Lab Storytelling and Video Lesson Assignment.
A link to a Google Doc, Slides or Sheet, with fun, engaging activities. Make sure the file can be edited or viewed by anyone without logging in. Students should be able to just type in their questions and answers. See the sample.
A link to a quiz, a test or any creative assessment format, using Google Forms, or any other assessment tools such as Kahoot, Quizlet, or Quizziz. See resources on assessment activities. Use the tools you learned in Fall 2019 Technology for Assessment Assignment.
Keep an accurate log of time you spend on developing your lesson, and engaging with students online. Remember to enter all of your hours every week at this link. Your supervisor will receive a copy of your submission.
Please check out the resources page and previous assignments in the tech lab courses. You can just use the website you created in the tech lab course or use any Google application to create your professional profile.
