Hello all -
Remember that we are meeting tomorrow, Sunday, March 8th, at 12:40 to enjoy our second session of Fr. Ben sharing about the Sacraments.
It will be recorded to share out to you all!
The recording of last Sunday's teaching from Fr. Ben was added to the Session 7 page.
Please review the recording and bring any questions about it and be ready to repeat back to him what you learned last week.
We pray you are all having a blessed week!
See you tomorrow.
God bless you all!!

Hello Confirmation Family -
Apologies again for creating confusion last week about our schedule!
We are meeting this Sunday, March 1st, at 12:40 to enjoy our beloved Fr. Ben share about the Sacraments.
A few of you will not be able to make it and I will do my best to get it recorded and shared out to you all!
Also, thank you all for getting your paperwork in!
Our past two confirmation classes we had a struggle and lots of late paperwork.
We appreciate your efforts to get it all done and to us!
God bless you all!!
Connie & Dennis
Hello again -
Another quick reminder to bring these three items next Sunday:
Final draft of your Letter to the Bishop.
Filled out Confirmation Certificate Information Sheet (there is a copy below if you lost yours)
Non-perishable food item for donation to the Food Bank.
We will be taking a quick tour of The Food Bank at the end of Sunday's class.
Please also take a minute to read our beloved Bishop Peter's Ash Wednesday / Lenten Message:
A Lenten call to listen to the Holy Spirit who leads us home (copy below)
God bless you all!!
Connie & Dennis
“Lent is not first a season of our effort or self-improvement. It is, above all, a season of God’s mercy and action in our lives through the gift of the Holy Spirit. At the same time, this gift is never forced upon us. The Holy Spirit is freely given, but he must also be freely received. During these forty days, the Lord invites us to open our hearts more fully, to listen more attentively, and to cooperate more generously with the Spirit’s gentle promptings. We are not passive spectators in Lent; we are beloved sons and daughters who are called to walk willingly with the Spirit who leads us.”
Lent begins today, Ash Wednesday, February 18. Read Bishop Peter’s column on Lent on the Idaho Catholic Register’s website by clicking HERE.

Father B
Beloved friends, I would like to remind us that classes on March 1 and 8 would be at 12:40pm that is immediately after 11:30am Mass. That will give me the opportunity to run to Genesee and back.
God bless you all. Fr. Ben.
Thank you to Bobbi Finken who was able to round up a GoPro for us to use to record Fr. Ben's talks in March. Still figuring out the finer details of it but I have made some recordings and it should work!
God bless you all!!

A second special request for help:
Our sessions on March 1st and March 8th will be led by Fr. Ben as he teaches on The Sacraments.
I would like to be able to record his teaching.
I have tried with my phone in the past and the quality was not very good.
Do any of you have recommendations for hardware and/or software that we could you to get a good quality recording of Fr. Ben's talk to be able to share with those that might not be at the sessions?
Any direction or suggestions you can provide would be much appreciated!
God bless you all!!

Hello again Confirmation Family -
One more item to think about for discussion tomorrow (and this will help with your letter to the bishop):
"Why do you want to be Confirmed in the Catholic Church?"
Reminder from the message earlier this week:
If you did not do so last session, please feel free to bring gently used clothing items on Sunday related to our discussion on The Spiritual & Corporal Works of Mercy.

Keep thinking about and even start working on your Letter to the Bishop.

Feel free to plan to share with us any times you feel like you have been able to be that blessing for someone.
See all you students tomorrow!

Hello and Welcome Confirmation Family!
Parents, please plan to join us for the Parent Session on Sunday, October 12th, 2025 @ 9:15 in St. Mary's Parish Center.
Welcome (or welcome back) to the St. Mary's Confirmation Preparation website!
Please feel free to check out the resources links at the left of this page.
There are also calendars at the bottom of this page showing events at St. Mary's Church and Family Center.
Our plan is to "activate" a page after each session with summaries of the discussion items and links to the videos.
Please also review the session schedule below.
We tried to avoid Sunday's during long school breaks as well as other major events.
Confirmation is nearly a month earlier next spring than is was this past spring so we have a pretty tight schedule.
We are open to discussion of questions / issues / concerns about schedule or anything else at the Parent Session.
Looking forward to seeing you all on the 12th!
God bless you all!!
