Freddie Polk is a retired chemist with over 35 years in the chemical industry - first an an analytical chemist, then later as a polymer chemist working on the production of polycarbonate products and later as an applications chemist in the use of polyurethane foams in automotive applications. Five additional years were spent in the automotive industry working on headliners for vehicles. He received his BS in chemistry from The University of Texas at Austin and his MS in chemistry from The University of Houston. He began teaching in September 2009 in Port Huron, Michigan and moved back to Texas in 2012 where he taught at Sanford-Brown in Austin, TX, and later at Concorde Career College in San Antonio. He began teaching at San Antonio college in September of 2015.
