I'll never stop learning! I received a BS in Electrical Engineering in 1988 and a MS in Environmental Sciences in 1997 from UTSA. Since 1989, I have worked for the Army as a civilian in various engineering positions and continue to work for a worldwide Army organization. Since 1998, I have been an adjunct professor teaching Environmental Geology, Planetary Geology, Meteorology, Earth Science 1, and Oceanography. Being an adjunct is my fun and my way to continuously learn and teach my students what I learn. I am a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Texas (2003). I, currently, work for the worldwide Army headquarters Installation Management Command (IMCOM). We manage over $8 billion in facilities and logistics operations to support our Soldiers and their Families at 65 Army installations all over the world. I am a military veteran. Nestled in with my Army civilian career I served as an Army Reserve officer for 13 years and received an Honorable Discharge at the rank of Captain in 2002. I have been happily married since 1989. I enjoy my grandson and have three amazing adult children with promising careers in Human Resources (daughter), Nursing (youngest son applying to UT Health Science Center Nursing School in the Spring 2020), and Teaching 8th grade English (oldest son at Stevenson Middle School). I have much more to do and learn. To learn is to live.
