Biography

My main goal as an instructor is to provide my students with the tools necessary to critically evaluate the information they are bombarded with. The topics I emphasize have a direct bearing on students' day-to-day lives. Be sure to wear sensible shoes if you are taking one of my courses because we will be exploring the great outdoors!

I earned my undergraduate degree in Geology from Texas A&M, College Station. I earned my Master’s degree in Geology from the University of Texas at San Antonio and I am currently working to complete a Doctorate’s degree in Environmental Science and Engineering from the University of Texas at San Antonio. While I have experience working as a mudlogger in the oilfield, my interests currently lean towards groundwater management and karst.
