About me

I am an Assistant Professor at the department of Applied Mechanics at IIT Delhi. I completed my Ph.D. in Computational Mechanics from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, USA under the guidance of Dr. Amit Acharya. Prior to joining IIT Delhi, I worked as a postdoctoral associate  at the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at University of Miami, USA. I did my undergrad at IIT Kharagpur in Civil Engineering. 

My current research interests include problems in the following areas:

• Multiscale materials modeling

• Computational elasticity and plasticity

• Machine Learning in mechanics

• Damage and fracture mechanics

• Coarse-graining of fast dynamics
