Sabrina Mandel

I am an architect and lighting designer, deeply captivated by light and its magic. I once promised myself that I would dedicate my career to lighting for as long as I enjoyed it—and 17 years later, it remains my greatest passion.

Teaching is a true gift. Since 2002, I have been a professor of Lighting Design at the University of Buenos Aires (FADU, UBA - Cátedra Varchetta, formerly Sirlin). The classroom gives me the immense pleasure of playing with light and sharing my enthusiasm with my students. It is a space where I learn something new every day, discovering alongside them and letting light surprise me in every single class.

Exploring light has no limits. When you do what you love, it never truly feels like work.
