SEA Teacher Program (Southeast Asia Teachers) is an initiative launched by SEAMEO (Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization) with the aim of improving the quality of education in Southeast Asian countries. The program is designed to provide opportunities for teachers from SEAMEO member countries to join exchange programs in other countries, allowing them to develop their professional skills through hands-on experience abroad. In this program, participants can teach in partner schools, exchange knowledge, and understand the cultural differences and education systems that exist in ASEAN especially Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Japan.

The main objective of the SEA Teacher program is to strengthen cooperation between Southeast Asian countries in the field of education, as well as enhance cross-cultural understanding among educators. The program aims to provide teachers with the opportunity to develop their pedagogical skills through teaching in different environments, improve their competence in managing diverse classrooms, and broaden their horizons on international education policies. In this way, SEA Teacher not only benefits individual teachers, but also contributes to the improvement of the education system in the Southeast Asian region as a whole.
