Support the Band

One of the main functions of the Band Boosters is to conduct fundraising activities in such a manner satisfactory to the Saguaro High School Administration, to supplement purchases of instruments, music, accessories, and flags, and to defray expenses of travel and transportation of members for the Saguaro Band and their equipment, to finance awards, scholarships and similar forms of recognition and defray all reasonable Saguaro Band expenses for promotion, advancement of purposes, maintenance and otherwise.

Studies show that being involved in music programs in school helps students on tests, with critical thinking, and in becoming a well-rounded citizen in their community. Newsletters—Sabercat Bands produce a weekly newsletter that is widely distributed to parents, and students and alumni. It keeps them up-to-date on upcoming band events, rehearsals and performance schedules

Performance Program—Sabercat Bands produce a program for each school performance event that is considered a keepsake. These programs can identify corporate sponsors and thus provide excellent visibility to our greater community.

Band Website—The Sabercat Band Website is a vital source for anyone who wishes to know more about the program
