These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Sabaai ("Sabaai", "the app", "we", "us", or "our"), a Thai language learning application for iOS.
By downloading, accessing, or using Sabaai, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the app.
Sabaai is designed to help users learn and practice Thai words and phrases.
Features may include:
Thai words and phrases organized by real-life situations
Pronunciation audio and romanization
Quizzes, flashcards, and listening exercises
Spaced-repetition learning
Custom phrases
Favorites
Learning progress and streaks
Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets
Some features are available for free, while others require a Sabaai Pro subscription.
You may use Sabaai only if you are legally permitted to enter into these Terms under the laws applicable to you.
If you are not legally able to enter into these Terms yourself, your use of Sabaai must be authorized by a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law.
Sabaai does not currently require you to create an account.
Learning progress, favorites, custom phrases, streaks, and similar information may be stored locally on your device.
You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of your device where necessary. We cannot guarantee that locally stored information can be recovered if the app is deleted, your device is lost or damaged, or data is otherwise removed.
Sabaai may provide both free and paid functionality.
The free version may include limitations on features such as:
Available learning packs
Number of favorites
Number of custom phrases
Number of practice sessions
Widget refresh frequency
Sabaai Pro may provide access to additional features, including additional learning packs, unlimited or increased usage limits, and enhanced widget functionality.
The specific features included in each tier may change over time.
Sabaai Pro may be offered as an automatically renewing monthly or yearly subscription.
The price displayed in the App Store at the time of purchase is the price applicable to your purchase, subject to Apple's applicable terms and any taxes or regional pricing.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID through the App Store.
Unless you cancel your subscription, it will automatically renew according to the subscription period you selected.
You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID subscription settings.
Cancellation takes effect according to Apple's subscription rules. Canceling a subscription does not normally terminate access immediately; you may continue using Pro features until the end of the already-paid subscription period.
We do not directly process your payment card or banking information.
Subscription prices may change from time to time in accordance with Apple's App Store rules and applicable law.
We may add, modify, replace, or discontinue features of Sabaai as the app develops.
Where required by applicable law or App Store rules, appropriate notice will be provided for material changes affecting paid subscriptions.
Purchases and subscriptions are processed through Apple.
Refund requests for App Store purchases are generally handled by Apple and are subject to Apple's applicable refund policies and legal requirements.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.
Sabaai is an educational tool intended to assist with learning Thai.
Although we aim to provide useful and accurate translations, romanization, pronunciation, explanations, and learning materials, language can vary depending on context, region, formality, speaker, and situation.
We do not guarantee that every translation, pronunciation, romanization, example, or explanation is error-free or appropriate for every situation.
Sabaai should not be relied upon as the sole source of information in situations where incorrect communication could create significant consequences.
In particular, phrases relating to emergencies, healthcare, law enforcement, immigration, transportation, finance, or other important situations are provided for language-learning purposes and are not professional advice.
Sabaai may allow you to create and store your own words, phrases, translations, or other learning content.
You remain responsible for the content you create.
You must not use Sabaai to create or store content that violates applicable law or the rights of another person.
Because custom content is currently stored locally on your device, we generally do not access or moderate this content.
Sabaai and its original content, design, software, graphics, branding, learning materials, databases, organization, and other components are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to use Sabaai for personal purposes.
Except where permitted by applicable law, you may not:
Copy or redistribute substantial portions of Sabaai's content
Sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit Sabaai or its content
Attempt to extract or reproduce Sabaai's learning database
Reverse engineer or interfere with the app except where such restrictions are prohibited by law
Circumvent subscription restrictions or access controls
Misrepresent Sabaai's content as your own product or service
No ownership rights are transferred to you through your use of the app.
We aim to keep Sabaai available and functioning correctly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Features may temporarily become unavailable because of software updates, operating-system changes, maintenance, technical problems, third-party services, or circumstances outside our control.
We may update, modify, or discontinue portions of the app where reasonably necessary.
Sabaai relies on services and technologies provided by third parties, including Apple for App Store distribution, purchases, subscriptions, and iOS functionality.
Sabaai may also use privacy-focused analytics providers such as TelemetryDeck.
Third-party services are governed by their respective terms and policies where applicable.
