Dr. Chang visited Nanyang Technological University (Dr. Justin Yeoh’s group) to give a talk on smart and integrated communities.
Dr. Chang (S2-HUB) and Dr. Oh (S2-WIDE) visited LeapThought and SoilBuild to explore advancements in modularization and prefabricated construction.

Dr. Chang, Dr. Oh (S2-WIDE), and Hayoung were invited to organize a joint workshop at the University of Tokyo (hosted by Dr. Takahiro Yoshida) and Keio University (hosted by Dr. Yoshiki Yamagata) to discuss future urban systems.

Dr. Chang co-organized a joint workshop between Purdue University, Seoul National University (SNU), and Keio University, hosted by Dr. Jun-Suk Kang in the Department of Landscape Architecture and Rural Systems Engineering at Seoul National University, South Korea.
Dr. Chang and Dr. Oh (S2-WIDE) were invited to give a talk at the City Energy Lab, led by Dr. Steven Jige Quan, at the Graduate School of Environmental Studies, Seoul National University.

Dr. Chang has also served as a Moderator for "Infrastructure Systems and Engineering and Materials Design" sessions.

Jae presented his research on "Deep Reinforcement Learning for Optimal Planning of Fast Electric Vehicle Charging Stations at a Large Scale" in the 2023 ASCE International Conference on Computing in Civil Engineering (i3CE 2023), Corvallis, OR.
Jae also presented co-authored paper "Information Visualization Platform for Underground Pipeline Maintenance Integrating BIM and GIS Data" in the conference.
Mina presented her research on "Cost Estimation for Water Loss Restoration Using Building Information Modeling, Infrared Thermography, and Xactimate" in the 2023 ASCE International Conference on Computing in Civil Engineering (i3CE 2023), Corvallis, OR.
