Since I already knew that it will be an ATX mainboard, ATX PSU and which cooling solution will come, I had already a clear concept for the new housing.

Almost 1000 left...

In the past I had the PC always under the desk "hidden". It should be quiet and it was enough if the front was looking good. I was thrilled that since my last build many new housings with innovative approaches came on the market.

After a little swarm for benchtables (nice but open and therefore impractical) and desks (for the price I prefer to go on vacation or build a 2nd pc), I looked into the new tempered glass cases.

For the appropriate cooling was important, that front and top or front and rear, enough large fan's have space and support for watercooling... The list of cases was shorter and a few hundred remained. After a first beauty contest about 100 remained - with which I dealt more closely.

It was increasingly frustrating... partly already almost an insolence what one is offered... some manufacturers just did not do their homework!

• missing information on dimensions for possible radiators with fans
• unfavourable installation of the radiators
• bad processing
• ... and other things which I have already repressed

But I did not let myself be discouraged and found a housing manufacturer who was with devotion at the thing.
